With grateful hearts and great excitement, the First Baptist Church family invites you to join us for a historic and spirit-filled celebration as we formally install Rev. Darian C. Bouie as the 11th Pastor in our church's 213-year legacy and the youngest pastor to ever serve in this sacred role.

This special service marks not only a new chapter for our congregation but also a powerful move of God as we honor the past and boldly step into the future. We are thrilled to witness how God will lead us under Pastor Bouie's visionary, faithful, and compassionate leadership.

Yes. Since we need to prepare food, programs, and gifts, please RSVP by September 30, 2025, by clicking the button above this section.
How can I give or contribute if I cannot attend?
We deeply appreciate your support, even if you are unable to join us in person. You may participate in several ways:

Souvenir Booklet – Purchase an ad or space in the installation souvenir booklet to commemorate this historic moment.

What airport should I fly into?
The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), located about 20 minutes from First Baptist Church (101 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC). RDU offers nonstop flights from most major U.S. cities.
Where can I park for the Installation Service?
Parking is available at nearby public decks and lots within walking distance of the church:

Wilmington Street Deck – 115 S. Wilmington St.
Moore Square Parking Deck – 223 S. Wilmington St.
Cabarrus Street Deck – 20 E. Cabarrus St.

Metered street parking is also available but may be limited. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot.
Can I bring additional guests?
Yes! Please indicate the number of guests attending with you on your RSVP form so we can plan accordingly.
Will the service be livestreamed?
Yes, the installation service will be livestreamed. Streaming details will be shared closer to the date.
What time should I arrive?
Doors will open 45 minutes before the service to allow time for seating. Please arrive early to insure you are comfortably seated before the program begins.
Is childcare available?
Child watch will be provided during the installation service. Families are also welcome to bring children into the sanctuary.
